In Kingdom Hearts 1, Diamond Dust is obtained by defeating the optional boss, the Ice Titan, in the game’s Olympus Coliseum. Once you defeat the Ice Titan, you have a chance to receive Diamond Dust as a drop. Additionally, you can also synthesize it at the Moogle shop if you have the necessary materials and the synthesis recipe unlocked.

He is but only in misson mode. Two ways i was told to get him is Complete the halo-missions in story mode till the word DONE is gold or beat the dust flyer in mission mode with Roxas.
