Kodak printers are generally well-rated. Much of discrepancy depends on the various models. The Kodak ESP 5250, for example, is known to have several problems.
Try the manufacturer's website and search for the model of your printer.

One can get prints created on Kodak paper by using the following printers: Kodak Hero 5.1, All in One Printer, Kodak Hero 4.2, Kodak ESP 3.2, Kodak Office Hero 6.1, Kodak ESP9250, Kodak Hero 7.1 wireless, to name a few.
It really depends on what you want the printer to be able to do. Kodak makes a ton of great printers. The Kodak ESP Office 6150 All-in-One Printer is a great option at a fairly affordable price on sale for $149.99. There are other that work well for a lower price.

Short answer: you don't. Call Kodak for a replacement printer.I called Kodak support and it is an issue "under research". After a factory default settings reset didn't work (it did for one restart, but then the problem came back), they sent a replacement printer. Kodak paid all shipping, and didn't require sending in my unit first. Very reasonable response. No waiting to speak to support either. Quite impressed.
Don't worry if you lost the disc for the printer. Most companies have the drivers available free. Go to the printer's company website (ex: if it's an HP printer go to hp.com, an epson then epson.com etc) and go to the product support section. Once there you will be able to search for the appropriate driver and download to your computer.
