Panasonic is one of the more generally chosen brands, as compared to lesser known brands like Nikon, but lesser in value and quality (and price) than Sony or Canon.
In my many years of using all different types and brands of batteries. I have found that Energizer is better than Panasonic Energizer last a lot longer than Panasonic also. The only reason I buy Panasonic ever would be if I'm low on cash because they are cheaper. I wouldn't recommend using them in anything you plan to use on an everyday basis.
