I actually think it is deodorized because it has many chemicals but has 40% less chemicals than bleached
LouAna COis refined so that means it doesn't smell like coconut and may loose a small amt of its properties during the refining process. However, you still get the moisterizing benefits as you would from virgin/unrefined CO. Not sure if the bactericidal properties are the same as virgin CO
