No. Luke was in hiding in The Force Awakens & only appears in the movie for a few seconds at the very end.
In Episode IX The Last Jedi he is evidently a powerful Jedi but his full story remains to be seen until the films release date of December 15th 2017
No. Darth Vader dies in Return of the Jedi. Vader's helmet does, however make a brief appearance in the possession of Kylo Ren.
Nothing is confirmed about this, but it seems highly unlikely that Luke will be on the dark side in Episode 7.
Anakin Skywalker Asajj Ventress Darth Tyrannus
Depends on how you look at it. Luke did cut off Vader's prosthetic hand and then realized he was doing wrong and he was going down the dark road when he saw his own prosthetic hand. Then of course, the Emperor took advantage of Luke refusing to give in to the dark side.
You are thinking of Anakin Skywalker, who later in life was seduced by the dark side of the Force and became Darth Vader. He was also the father of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa.
Star Wars is a classic tale of good vs. evil, yet in addition to the old ending of "good always wins!" there is an underlying message--the power of redemption. Anakin Skywalker was the "Chosen One," the one who would destroy the evil in the universe. Yet when he fell to the dark side, many ditched that idea. It was understandable. But what's important is that, wielding the power of light, Luke Skywalker redeemed his father, so that he died Anakin, not Vader--a Jedi, not a Sith.
No. Romeo and Juliet is a doomed love story tragedy about two lovers who come from feuding families who are ill fated and who die because their parents hate each other. Star Wars is about a rebellion of the forces of the good (the Jedi) versus the evil Sith Lord Emperor Sideous. The Sith Lord has an evil ally Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) who is the father of a Jedi Knight (Luke) and a Princess (Lelia). Star Wars is nothing like Romeo and Juliet. It is in the 6th episode of Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi, that we find out Luke and Lelia are brother and sister, and the love story is between Hans Solo, a mercenary, and Princess Lelia. There is also a love story between Anakin Skywalker and Padame, but, that is doomed, because Anakin turns to the "dark side" and Padame dies of a broken heart, after giving birth to Luke and Lelia. There is no real comparison between Star Wars and Romeo and Juliet.
Star Wars
Luke doesn't die in star wars 7. He marries Mara Jade. There will be more chances of danger and he will turn dark side. But he does not say on the dark side
In the book "Dark Empire" by Tom Veitch, Luke Skywalker briefly turns to the dark side under the influence of Emperor Palpatine's spirit, but ultimately returns to the light side.
The Dark Side, (Darth Vader, Storm Troopers) And the Rebellion (The Good Guys, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia)
For some characters, that depends on your point of view. Luke Skywalker, Leia Skywalker, Anikan Skywalker (before he join the Dark Side), Padme' Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Yoda, and Rex are all some good heroes and heroines in the Star Wars saga.
The first Star Wars comic produced by Dark Horse Comics was simply titled "Star Wars" and was released in 1991. It featured a storyline focusing on Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia searching for a new Rebel base while evading Darth Vader's forces.

Brakiss was one of Luke Skywalker's students who turned to the dark side. He used to run a droid factory and then runned the Shadow Academy. He died there in 23 ABY.
The prophecy in Star Wars was that Anakin Skywalker would destroy the Sith. Though he joined the Sith and learned the dark side of the Force, he killed his master to save his son, Luke, thus destroying the Sith and the prophecy becoming true.
I believe Anakin is better, simply because he is the "chosen one"! He was destined to bring balance to the force; and in the end he did just that. He was turned to the dark side and became a Sith Lord but, he found his way back (with help from Luke, of course!) and destroyed Darth Sidious! :-) Of course Luke is awesome too!

Dark Vader Was actually born as Anakin Skywalker, Moved to the dark side after the death of his Wife. In the scene of a movie Dark Vader was heard saying "Luke I am your father" Showing that Anakin Skywalker is actually Dark Vader and Luke Skywalker's father.
