MSRC Group was advertising a PlayStation 3 320 GB for $179.95. I attempted to purchase it. They only accept wire transfers for payment. I attempted a wire transfer, but my bank informed me that it could not be completed due to lack of a SSN on MSRC group account. They also asked that the person contact them as soon as possible. The wire transfer is to an individual. The 800 number on their site is not connected. Their website has come down, except to confirm payment.
no,they are a bigtime scam,steal your money
The initials MSRC are used by several organizations. In the UK, MSRC may be the Multiple Sclerosis Research Centre is a registered charity, which has several affiliated groups. In the US, there is a Multicultural Suicide Research Center which is an academic research team at Palo Alto University. At the University of Pittsburgh, there is a research team called the Musculo-Skeletal Research Center. The initialism is also applied to the Microsoft Security Response Center, which is a department within Microsoft. In addition, there is an informal team of computer security researchers who, alternately, critique and satirize Microsoft's approach to security. Their activities commenced with their name, "Microsoft-Spurned Researcher Collective", a co-opting of Microsoft's MSRC initialism. Then, we also have the Marine Spill Response Corporation, a privately-held corporation founded in 1990, which provides planning, testing and contingency analysis services as well as shoreline protection and cleanup services, primarily to clients in the offshore oil industry. This is the only one that seems to qualify as a "real company", meaning a for-profit corporation. There is also, in the US, the slightly mysterious Media Security and Reliability Council, which is a committee or consortium that is offering consultation to the FCC on disaster planning. This seems to be related to FCC projects motivated by the Department of Homeland Security.
The ligitimate way is to go to the place that the event was held and use the Mystery Gift, but now the event is over and the only way is to buy an Action Replay/Gameshark.
