This is a matter of opinion it depends on what you like Modern Warfare 2 is a more fast paced couple shot kill game. Halo Reach is a little slower and isn't a game where you shoot two to three times and the player dies. It is really different in many other ways though. ANSWER : It doesn't matter about shooting , its the campaign and multiplayer. The campaign is great for Halo Reach and more action while the multiplayer is also great . The ranking for Halo Reach is hard work. MW2 is just duck and shoot in my opinion

Modern Warfare 2 is very popular, but Halo Reach is still in production (yet looks very promising). Besides, which is better is more of an opinion anyway. As stated above it is an opinion. Depending on what gameplay you like, art style, map themes, and more you could love one and hate the other. I agree with the previous poster, Halo: Reach looks very promising featuring Spartan IIs, not the Master Chief. You run with an entire squad instead of on your own, and there are female spartans. As well as major graphics and SFX overhaul, the game looks to be superb at this point.

Halo 3 ODST will contain a brand new and exiting campaign, ready to be completed. It will also have all the maps in Halo 3 and all the DLC including the 2nd half of the Mythic Map pack. Halo 3 ODST (like other Halo games) will have secret skulls on the new maps so you can get achievements on Forge and on the Campaign. Also it is NOT Halo ODST it's Halo 3 ODST.unfortunantely it will not have killstreaks like mw2 which i do believe is a much better game since odst is only considered an expansion packand yes mw2 is not better than odst.
