This depends on your personal feelings. People may argue that maplestory people don't loose items. But it also teach people to be wiser on how to manage their items. In runescape, people no longer loose items due to the new fix. Maple story has a diffrent economy so you can get cheap gold. But runscape is dependant on friendship and hard work.

It is all about point of view. Runescape and maplestory has different teachings. In maple story, things are alot cheaper because of real world trading, but in runescape, it's about management. People loose their things because they are careless and go to sites that claim to be moderator tryouts and loose their password, or died in wilderness. The risk is your own, but people always look for someone to blame. It's no Jagex's fault if you are careless. They are both good, but runescape is more of reality.
