There is something in the Solar System between Mars and Jupiter called the asteroid belt. It is a group of asteroids gathered around the Sun. The asteroid belt separates our entire Solar System into two parts. The Inner Planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars) are the ones in the first portion of the Solar System, the part closest to the Sun. The Outer Planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune), on the other hand, are the ones in the part of the Solar System that is furthest from the sun.
Mars is an inner planet.

Mars is considered an outer planet, not an inner planet. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun, located between Earth and Jupiter. Inner planets refer to the terrestrial planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, which are closer to the Sun.
no mars is an inner planet
Inner, cause there is a ring of asteroids between Mars and Jupiter so therefore that makes it an inner planet & not an outer planet.
Mars is considered an outer planet. It is located beyond the asteroid belt and is the fourth planet from the Sun in our solar system.
Mars is an inner planet, located between Earth and the asteroid belt. The inner planets are rocky and terrestrial, while the outer planets are gas giants.
Mars is an inner planet. The are 3 others: Mercury, Earth, and Venus. the outer planets and Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn. all of the outer planets and farthest from the sun and all have a ring around them.
Mars, Earth, Venus, and Mercury.
Eris is an OUTER planet. The only inner planets are mercury, venus, earth and mars. An outer planet is not related to the size of the planet but rather the distance from the sun.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by outer planet... But it is a planet in outer space. Astronauts have been trying to see if there's been life on Mars. They've had space robots go up and take pictures. Hope I helped! =)
Earth is inside the asteroid belt which lies between Mars and Jupiter.
