Is Maximum Ride going to be a movie?

Maximum Ride will become a movie. James Patterson says the movie will come out in 2013, in which he says that he wants new and undiscovered actors and actresses. The casting began April 17, 2011. We are not sure yet who will play Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, The Gasman(Gazzy), Angel and Total. Rumors say that there will be two movies, each containing three books. The first three:
