Technically yes. However, FSX (or Flight Simulator 10 as its actually called ) is a later platform. This means requirements of 2002 are embedded in to FSX so that many of the textures work. You cannot run fsx objects in 2002.
Flight Simulator X is by Microsoft, the full name is Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
I don't believe you can play them both at the same times if that's what you mean, but if you mean can you have both installed on your computer, then yes I am 95% sure you can as long as you have enough memory.
No they are different
2017 - $20 average - the same for the basic steam edition
Microsoft's Flight Sim X only works with the Windows operating system so to use it on a Mac you will need to install and run Windows on the Mac. There are alternative flight simulators available for the Mac the best one being Xplane. (See links below)
yes, it will. I used to have the same problem. once I found out it WORKED! I was so relieved!
Mainly the feedback (or lack of it) are not the same is in flight and that you know you are in a simulator; no one knows exactly what they will do when in an actual emergency.
Press shift+e+2 at the same time
Both are about the same in capability
They depend on what you configure in the controls and buttons section of the set up. These can be changed as you require for differing aircraft's operations by accessing the same area
You can join the on line flight community of GAMESPY which is accessible through the Flight sim programme You can also join one of the 3 flight simulation networks at NO COST They are Virtual Skies, Vatsim and IVAO Each offers something of the same - but there are opportunities in all not just to fly but to be trained by their in-house trainers as a Air Traffic Controller with their own free software which they allow you to use. This will let you control real people who fly virtual aircraft on their network
A flight simulator has many different aspects for FAA approval. Take a look at aeronautical systems engineering, leading Avionics Simulation design flight simulation,Flight Training Systems. Building certified FAA motion base systems www.aerosyseng.com They manufacture Full Flight Simulators 6 DOF systems that are Faa Qualified Level D They also make non motion Flight training devices aka FTD fully enclosed cockpit and they are FAA Qualified Level 6. There is another device called Advanced Aviation Training Device or AADT not enclosed cockpit buy utilizes same instruments as the Full Flight Simulator (FFS)
