It will work with the MS Office 2000 compatibility pack however there are some minor issues.
Eg: Mail To links will not work in outlook
Outlook will not register as default client
Office will not save directly to a TS client drive but will copy to it.

∙ 14y agoThey are operating systems; one is not an application for the other, and does not run directly on top of the other.
Programs written for Windows XP have approximately the same compatibility rate with Windows Server 2008 as they do with Windows Vista.
