Yeah. Bungie is done making Halo games but Microsoft is making Halo 4 and a remake of the first halo which will come out in November I think.

The only answer is that it is very likely. Halo Reach will be the last Halo game made by Bungie, but Microsoft (owners of 343 Studios), will undoubtably make another just to squeeze the Halo franchise's fans for even more money before the series dies.

Why did bungie stop making halo?
When Microsoft bought Bungie they also bought Halo, and so when Bungie split from Microsoft they no longer had the rights to make the games. But Microsoft still wanted Halo games so they had Bungie make Halo 3, ODST and Reach, this is also the reason why Ensemble Studios was allowed to make Halo Wars, Microsoft 'chose' them to make a Halo game. Now Bungie are done with Halo and are working on a new IP for Activision, but again, Microsoft still wants more Halo games, so they created 343 Industries to hold the responsibility of future Halo projects.
