I've tried the patches whic irritated my skin so I'm asking about the ms. contin or methadone? Are they time released? Do they last all day unstead of like lortab n percocet n have to take them every 4 hours?

depends on what brand it is, are your pills coated? a few companies produce morphine sulfate to be dispensed pharmacologicaly

if your pill is light blue then yes....

if it is purple then it is not considered time release. However most coatings on coated opiates manufactured from 2005 and later are made to hold the meds in the coating longer, due to overdoses in case of miss dosing or intentional overdose. it gives more time to get the meds out before they have been released.

It's certainly been done, but it's not a simple process. Indeed, these pills have been formulated specifically to prevent IV use. The penalty for not getting it right can be high, but the government would rather see you die than to enjoy drugs. Take it orally - it'll last longer.

What is the name of the pill that last 12 hours with morphine and percocet in it?

There is only one 12 hour pain med on the market, and that's OxyContin. It isn't a combination of Percocet and Morphine - Percocet is a combination of Oxycodone and Tylenol. Oxycodone, like all natural opiate meds, are morphine derivatives. OxyContin is a timed-release version of Oxycodone.

How long will 30mg timed-release morphine sulfate remain in your system?

12 hours for the long-acting M-Eslon; 4-6 hours for the short-acting M-Ir (Immediate release). The long-acting morphine is usually a capsule with little 'beads' inside (though it can also be a capsule-shaped tablet), where the short-acting is usually a pill (white for generic, purple stamped '30' for name brand -- the morphine is the same in both though).
