On or about February 27, 2009, my husband and I, signed a contract with Negotiation Center of America, Inc. or NCA#103, 3010 W. Agua Fria Freeway, Phoenix, AZ 85027; (888) 263-3952‎. They charged us $4500 per modification for our home loans that were predatory loans. They promised to get modifications for us and advised us to stop paying our house payments on both properties since banks won't do anything for people who are making their payments. It has been 11 months since then and we just lost through foreclosure one of our properties due to their negligence. We have repeatedly asked for our refund, minus their fee of $1250. They are still refusing to credit my Visa credit card $4500. January 14th was the last time I spoke with them, Lauren Lewis, a representative of NCA, told me that I should make my payment to GMAC so that they wouldn't foreclose. However, GMAC foreclosed on January 14th. We believe that NCA is a crooked business, who preys upon innocent people in dire situations. We feel they should refund all of my money of $9000 at this point since I have repeatedly told them that I want to discontinue my relationship with them. Robert Pierson, another representative, also will not refund my money even though they state in their contract that if they DO NOT get you a modification then you will get a refund minus the $1250. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
