some believe he is vergils son, but i on the other hand think that when vergil lost to mundus in dmc 3 (10 years before dmc 1) he was split down the middle. like his demonic shell became nelo angelo and his humanity became a young nero, who was then raised by kyrie and credo.
no Nero isn't virgil but some believe he is virgils son since he has the same demon look when he turns into 1 and also he need yamato to do it but no one is sure

Ovid and Virgil were poets.
Nero is the main character you play, he is a reincarnation of Vergil, making him Dante's brother and the son of Sparta. He isn't the "bad guy" and even though you fight Dante, Dante isn't the "bad guy" either. image: http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa235/argent_angelo/nero.jpg
Dunno how long ago this was posted but No Vergil isn't in DMC4 but his reincarnation: Nero (who is the main character you play, though you play Dante too later on) is in the game.

The word reincarnation is a noun, or occasionally a noun adjunct (e.g. reincarnation beliefs).
There is no scientific evidence that reincarnation occurs.
