the disadvantage of using community service is that you have to pay and you dont have the advantage to going where ever you want
because it going to look good on your record. specially when your getting a job. I have done a lot of community service and i got job really easy although it is hard to get a job in usa.
Community service helps businesses because if they can't afford help for what they need done or they don't have enough people on their staff. Plus community service is a good thing and if you are still in high school or something, it works very well towards scholarships if you are going to go to college.
A family can be a community in many ways. Going of the scientific term I would say, a family could start off with a mother father two sons and a daughter. And if all children got married and stayed close to their parents. Then the married children, had children that got married and stayed close to home, you would have a community of the same family.

Unfortunately there is no way to get out of your required community service. I suggest going someplace that actually interests you (if you like to cook, go to a soup kitchen, if you like kids go tutor underprivileged kids, etc. ) If your required to have some kind of form signed after completing community service, you can always use pencil and then change the total hours to make it seem like you worked longer than you did.
