The democratic people's republic of Korea is a nic
Argentina is considered a middle-income country, so it falls between being a more economically developed country (MEDC) and a less economically developed country (LEDC). Its economy is diversified with a mix of agriculture, industry, and services, giving it a higher level of development compared to many LEDCs.
It is not an MEDC nor a LEDC, it is a NIC (Newly industralized country)

it has qualities of both and thus it s a NIC Newly Industralized Country
Given the fact that China's overall social standards are not very high, it is not considered an MEDC. However, seeing as economically, it is one of the richest countries in the world, it is not an LEDC, either. It is a NIC (Newly Industrialised Country)!!
Chile is an LEDC. It is one of the two (Chile and Singapore) LEDCs in the Southern hemisphere. Australia? New Zeland? By the way i think that chille is a LEDC, although it has some built-up towns, similar to brazil.
Egypt is a NIC!!!
china is an NIC (Newly Industrialised Country), although it has a very low GDP per capita this is only because Chinas population is so vast that the economys wealth is stretched out over its entirity. China has one of the fastest growing economys in the world, with its growth rate in double figures for several consecutive years. It scores relatively lowly on the HDI (Human Development Index) because it is densely overpopulated.
