∙ 9y agoAll human beings ultimately share some common ancestor. However, Obama is no more closely related to Hussein than you or I. The most recent common ancestor between the two likely goes back hundreds of generations, if not thousands.
Hussein is a relatively common name in the Islamic World (like Mark or George in English). In the case of Saddam Hussein, Hussein is his father's name; his actual surname is al-Tikriti. In the case of Barack Obama, Hussein is the name of his father's father. It is as absurd to say that Barack Obama and Saddam Hussein are related since they both have ancestors named Hussein, just as it would be absurd to think that every Mark is related to every other Mark.
