Austin Edward Cox is the 2nd windiest city on earth.
http://www.usatoday.com/weather/resources/askjack/archives-weather-extremes.htm says "Q: On average, in what area would the least windiest conditions be found in the USA?" "A: There is no large area of calm winds. The places with the lowest average annual wind speeds are away from the coasts, and tend to be sheltered by mountains. The two weather stations with the lowest annual wind speeds are Talkeetna, Alaska, and Medford, Ore"
HOT, hot, hot. It is in a desert.
I would have to say la quinta considering the location is a little more inward from the 10fwy. the 10 fwy is where the wind isverry bad. i know the worst wind is in Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs to the point where they somtimes close down roads because of the wind.
Our software estimates 1,530 km, straight down PH5/I-5 all the way.
Because the Coachella Valley is 66. ft below sea level. I honestly can't find any weather record showing snow in Palm Springs...
