I think so, women portrayed in media send the message that you have to be as thin as a twig to be attractive and that's just not true! Also they do Photoshop a lot of ads that involve models so women aren't even shooting for real traits! Even toys like Barbie are sending the wrong message, if you scaled a Barbie up to our size she would be 7ft 6in almost impossibly thin, you can't have a healthy woman with dimensions even close to that of a Barbie. And that is an inherit issue with modern society.

Most do have more self esteem then girls because they don't really have to worry about all the "girl" problems. Others can have low self esteem because of maybe something is wrong with them. But I have say yes!!
