Decent cars, so long as they've been properly maintained and not abused. One recurring problem with both the Grand Am and Grand Prix is that power window motors have a tendency to go out, and they're not cheap to replace.
a prix grand might have a good motor and the engine might be good
I KNOW TRYING TO LOCATE THE PCV ON 2004 GTP IS FUSTRATING, I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! SPEAKING TO THE PONTAIC DEALER I WAS TOLD IT IS LOCATED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE, ON THE SUPER CHARGER. GOOD LUCK!!!!
Yes, 2004 Grand Prix is a very good car. But a good car really depends on how well the previous owner maintained it, not what kind of car it is.
Yes, if maintained properly.
Find replacement rocker panels, specifically for a 97-03 Grand Prix, cut-out the old and weld on the new, then paint and u should be good to go........keep in mind that i would be alot less expensie if you order the replacements online Good Luck !
1999 Grand Prix Window ProblemI have had two 1999 grand prix cars that both had the drivers window stop working. One of them was just a bad switch that was inexpensive to have fixed. The other 99 Pontiac needed a new window regulator which required the whole window assembly from the dealer for around $300 not counting labor. I found an aftermarket part for around $200 and I plan on doing the repair myself. Make sure you rule out the switch before buying expensive parts. Good Luck.
i have a 1979 grand prix and my fuel filter is located in my carberator so that should be a good place to look.
maybe
Unless you own a GTP, regular unled is good enough.
GOOD QUESTION! It did that in my Grand Am and now in my Pontiac Bonneville! It also will switch back to my presets after a few days. I hope somebody answers this question because it is weird.
Starting with the 1999 GTP Grand Prix, they offered Bose as an optional sound system. On the 1999 GTP, the radio says Delco, and only the front left and right speakers say Bose. I assume it is the same for the 2000 GTP, so if you don't see Bose on the left and right speaker covers, it isn't Bose. It is a very good sound system.
The directions should be in a haynes manual you can buy at any auto parts store, i work at advance auto i know we carry them as well as autozone, i have a 99 grand prix and it blows cold only on one side so i am looking at the same thing, good luck
