Silicone can be formulated to be electrically insulative or conductive. Silicone is used as a non-conductive insulation material in wire and cable and also as a semi-conductive insulator in co-extruded cables.

Yes, that is why it is used in electronics.
No. Silicon dioxide is a pretty good insulator.
No. Silicone caulk is a polymer containing with a silicon-oxygen backbone, with organic compounds bonded to the silicon. It is not the element silicon, which is a semi-conductor.
Pure heavy water is practically not conductive.
Silicon is an element. Its symbol is Si.
Brass is conductive. It's an alloy of copper and zinc, both of which conduct electricity ( pure copper is better, though).
Not necessarily. The conductivity depends on what metal it is and how pure it is.
all metals in pure form are conductive, that's because they will always have free electrons circling around them ready to be used as electricity.
The ultrapure water is not conductive.
Silicone.

Solid pure sodium chloride is not conductive.

There are plenty of providers for silicone wristbands…. In that way is one of the leading provider of pure latex free 100% silicone made wristbands. They provide silicone wristbands at affordable price with easy customizers to design your band in your own way…
silicone spray did well for me. but i don't know what the long term effect on my keyboard will be. this is a desktop keyboard. laptop keyboard is a very different thing. silicone spray does protect rubber, etc as well as lubricate and is not conductive of electricity. so far, its worked very well.
Silicone materials are partly made of the element silicon, but most or all the silicon atoms in them are also bonded to oxygen atoms. Therefore, silicone materials do not have the chemical properties of pure elemental silicon.
Pure solide NaCl is not electrically conductive. The water solution of NaCl is an electrolyte and is conductive.
