Hi, Quicken 2002 seems to run on Windows 7 (build 7100) BUT at the moment I'm struggling with some subtlties of marking items for inclusion in custom reports -Angus (am <at> angusmacaskill <dot> com)
Yes, Windows 3.0 for Windows is compatible with Windows 7, at least for the 32-bit version. I installed it today in Windows 7 Pro on an HP laptop and copied my user files over in a sub-directory, which is accessible when you first run this version. I don't think it will install on a Win 7 64-bit version, much like the Windows 98 edition. Would appreciate it if an end-user would let me know.
Absolutely. I just put Quicken 99 on a Windows 7 laptop. I then put the backup files which were on my 98 computer (files that went back to 1983). I originally spent a lot of time putting all the data I could find into Quicken 99 when I first bought the program. On windows 7 installation I used the NT4 compatibility that is in Windows 7. Compatibility with 98 I am sure would also work. Everything works perfect on the Windows 7 laptop. I still use the 98 computer to enter data and occasionally transfer the 3 backup files from the 98 to 7 machine (instant protection if one machine dies). Why upgrade (and fight the hassles) if Quicken 99 does everything you need?
It is, with 32 bit version. The 64 bit version would not install it.
Yes all Quicken programs are going to be compatible and easy to install on Windows 7.
It's extremely rare to get discs 'backward compatible'. You may be able to get some software to 'trick' the Windows 98 machine into accepting a Windows 7 disc but since Windows 98 is no longer supported by Microsoft (and hasn't been for some time) you'll probably have difficulty finding a suitable converter.
No, if it is compatible with Windows 7 Professional it will be compatible with all versions of Windows 7.
no

Yes, Flight Simulator X is compatible with Windows 7.
As of my last knowledge, Beanotown Racing is not compatible with Windows 7. The game may require a higher version of Windows or a different operating system to run smoothly.
Counter Strike Deleted Scenes should be compatible with Windows 7.
Yes, Windows Live Messenger 2009 is XP, Vista and 7 compatible.
