Best Answer

The RNA that leaves nucleus is called mRNA (messenger RNA) molecule. The DNA molecule is first of all transcribed by use of general transcription factors to gives us a mRNA molecule. Now this mRNA molecule before leaving the nucleus undergoes RNA processing where all the interons - regions on mRNA that do not code for any protein are cut out by using spliceosomes. The modified mRNA molecule can now leave the nucleus.boogus

Yes, you know that DNA is stored in the nucleus. It is also impermeable to the nuclear membrane simply because it is too large to fit through the nuclear pores. Therefore, the only place you can actually transcribe DNA is into mRNA is in the nucleus. This only applies to eukaryotes though, so be careful. DNA is transcribed in the cytoplasm for prokaryotes because they don't have a nucleus! =D

DNA stays in the nucleus for the lifetime of the cell. RNA starts in the nucleus and moves to the ribosomes.

Yes, DNA remains in the nucleus. However, in the nucleus the DNA is transcribed into mRNA that is able to leave the cell, eventually going to a ribosome where protein synthesis will occur.

Where is RNA located in the cell?

All RNA is made in the nucleus. Some types permanently stay within the nucleus, and others can be found in the cytosol or on ribomes depending on their function.

RNA can leave the Nucleus.

Where in the nucleus is RNA found?

RNA is found anywhere in the nucleus after it is transcribed.

What enters and leaves the nucleus?

It is known to be the organelle it is the function in where things can enter an exit the nucleus.

Where is the RNA manufactured?

RNA is transcripted in the nucleus.

Does RNA form the cell nucleus?

Nucleus is built by many things. Not only with RNA.

What organelle is made up of DNA and RNA in the nucleus?

The Nucleolus is made up of DNA and RNA in the nucleus.

Where are strands of RNA made?

in eukaryotes, RNA is synthetised in the nucleus from DNA, using RNA-polymerase. in prokaryotes, RNA is synthetised in the cytoplasm (DNA has no nucleus), using RNA-polymerase as well.

What houses DNA and RNA?

DNA is located in the nucleolus of the nucleus and RNA is located in ribosomes

Where does RNA go when it leaves the nucleus?

it goes to the nucleus

Do ribosomes become RNA after they enter the nucleus?

No, ribosomes do not become RNA (but they do contain RNA) and they do not enter the nucleus. mRNA travels from the nucleus to the ribosomes, which are found in the cytoplasm or on the outside of the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER). The ribosomes do not enter the nucleus. Ribosomes contain a type of RNA called ribosomal RNA (rRNA) as well as protein.

How is the genetic transferred from the nucleus into the cytoplasm?

The genetic code is transferred from the nucleus into the cytoplasm by RNA. RNA is used to duplicate the DNA so it doesn't have to leave the nucleus.
