Is Santa Claus a real guy?

Haha. Good question. That's what my little daughter of three years asked me yesterday.

I had said briskly, 'Yes.'

She looked confused, and then blurted, 'Yesterday I saw your words, Mommy, and your words look like Santa's words.'

What she meant was my handwriting is similar to Santa's handwriting. She didn't know Santa was made up and I was the one who wrote her all those letters.

I answered, 'Oh, really? I think Santa copied my words.'

'Oh!' My daughter nodded, accepting my answer. 'Okay then.'

Today, my daughter bragged to all of her nursery friends, 'Santa copied my mommy's words.'
