Best Answer

Yes.

Saturn is a large ball of gas, comprised of about 96% hydrogen.

Because of this it is classified as an oblate spheroid; that is, it is flattened at the poles and bulges at the equator. Saturn is the most oblate of all the gas giants, its equatorial and polar radii differ by almost 10% - 60,268 km vs. 54,364 km.

Saturn is also the least dense of all the planets. If you could find a bath big enough and enough water, Saturn would float!!

Does Saturn have craters if so how do they form?

Saturn does not have craters. Craters are formed when one solid object crashes into another, much larger, solid object and gouges out a hole, which is called a crater. Saturn is essentially a huge ball of gas, so it cannot have craters. Craters are also formed when volcanoes explode. Because Saturn is essentially a big ball of gas it is not known to have volcanoes.
