Yes Christians believe this.
The entirety of the Holy Bible. Scripture.
Because it is the word of God.
The word of God is the Bible. They call it the word of God because God spoke every word of it and in the Bible it says "All scripture is God breathed". GOD BE WITH YOU ALL, AMEN!
The Holy Bible, and the Good Book.also 'God's Word', 'The Word of the Lord' or even simply, 'Scripture'.
A similar Scripture is in John 1.1 & 2; which reads thus: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
The Bible is the Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV) 16All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
The Bible itself contains a number of references which answer this, either referring to the whole Bible or part of it. These would include: Scripture, Sacred Scripture, The Word of God, the Word of Truth and probably many others. Additional Comments: You can say holy word, holy scriptures or holy book.
The Bible is the Word of God, as the scripture says: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2Peter 1.21) and All scripture is given by inspiration of God, (2 Timothy 3.16)
In Catholicism the Magisterium interprets the meaning of scripture for us.
if sacred scripture is the bible, it was the holy spirit who inspired men to write it. God the father spoke the word, jesus is the word become flesh, the holy spirit inspired the word.
There isn't one person that wrote the bible. The words in the bible is the Word Of God. God told certain important people (probably priests etc.) what to write down and through them, His word was written.
The Holy Bible is inspired directly from God and if people follow scripture, they can follow God's teachings for us.
