Yes it is much bigger.Probably 5 suns can fit in sirius.Not only is sirius bigger but it is much hotter as well.

The sun only appears brighter than Sirius because it much closer, by a factor of about half a million. In reality, Sirius is about 25 times brighter than the sun.
