Well I can't give a definitive answer since I'm not with Nintendo. XD But as far as I'm concerned, The Super Smash Bros. series is a hit and also a marketing success. Brawl may be the last game IF they can't think of something intuitive and new to bring to the series (mainly speaking new characters and stages). Other than that, the series will most likely continue. I have the game for Wii, and it's good, with most games, if they get good reviews (Super Smash Bros Brawl did), they will continue the series. So it will (hopefully) not be the last game.
