∙ 13y agoNew South Wales is not a desert. Its coast is fertile, and the landscape in the east is dominated by dense bushland and some rainforest of the Great Dividing Range. Moving westwards, the state is richly utilised for crop farming, extending to stock farming further west. New South Wales is the centre of numerous permanent river systems.
