He was friends with Josh and Zac Farro before the band had even formed and has therefore been a huge part of Paramore since the beginning, with the band often practicing in Taylor's basement. Taylor also helped to compose 'Conspiracy' and helped with writing the lyrics for several of the tracks on 'Riot!'. It wasn't until 2009 that Taylor became an official member of the band however, because Paramore didn't want to thrust Taylor or the fans upon eachother, but rather allow their relationships with eachother form naturally.
