I have witnessed friends suffer from mild asthma a few months before tests, however, it becomes significantly stronger nearer to test seasons, This can be fatal as one could literally stop breathing while sitting an exam. Headaches are a common symptom which can also develop to migraines if necessary, one tends to cry rivers as an escape route and may result to putting head on desk if not allowed to leave the test realm. Another common symptom is not coming to school when mock/real tests occur. Testophobia can be determined easily when examining the change of behavior in a student when test season occurs, One cries more often, one claims that he/she cannot breathe, one claims he/she has a headache, one claims that they're genuinely sick. To conclude, Testophobia is a defense mechanism used to escape tests.
