My daughter went there. Except for that professor who was a friend of the terrorists there (he was sympathetic to their cause and even financially supported them), the school was decent. The campus and surrounding area was nice. Not far from the beach and weather stayed great year round. They have a good Basketball and football program there.

∙ 14y agoI would rank UCF as the 4th of 5th best school in Florida in term of the entering freshman class. statistically:
- 35% in top 10th of graduating class
- 77% in top quarter of graduating class
- 95% in top half of graduating class
- 41% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
- 28% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74
- 16% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49
- 13% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24
- 2% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99
It has many excellent programs and if you are a Florida resident than it is very inexpensive (just the cost of textbooks for 100% bright futures) Some of the things that people love about UCF is the school spirit, the cleanness of the campus and the dorms. The school is division 1 which brings a lot of money into the school. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, in the time of people thinking scholastic achievements is based on football, it do not have the "powerhouse" achievement. What is a good Veterinary College in South Florida?
USF (in Tampa) has been gaining a lot of credibilty lately with their Medical programs, so for Veterinary school I would definitely suggest USF. Also I have heard that University of Miami has a good program. In addition, while this is not South Florida, UF has a terrific program. However, if you're open to going to Gainesville, then UF would be the best choice.
