Yes, Venice is very much so in danger of rising sea levels.
The city has in fact for the past 2 decades, and locals haven't lived on the first floor of their homes for 10 years. Currently the city is looking for ways to block the water from getting in.
Other issues with the city include the overpopulation of green algae, attributing to the green color and stench of the otherwise beautiful canals.
