If you look at the username or ID that answers the question, it would show the amount of trust points (ID's do not have trust points, so trusting them is more of a last resort). When you look at the username, the higher the number is of trust points, the more reliable the answer is.

Many contributions are accurate and well written, and many answers given in good faith are not. Answers.com is a reference branch of the site where much more reliable and researched material can be found. But this is a wiki, and as such almost anyone can change almost anything found here. It is a great resource and a great beginning. But 100 percent truthful? Add some realism to your general outlook.
