Yolanda Saldívar is a convicted murderer, born September 19, 1960. She was a nurse (with a college average of a "C") who went on to become Selena Quintanilla Perez's fan club president. She laundered money from Selena's fan club for her own personal use and when Abraham Quintanilla (Selena's father) found discrepancies with cancelled checks from Selena's fan club, he advised Selena of what was going on. Selena and her father confronted Yolanda about the checks and Yolanda acted like she didn't know what was going on. She and Selena set up a meeting early one morning at the Days Inn where Yolanda was staying and speculation is that Yolanda and Selena argued about the missing money and when Yolanda felt threatened and in backed in a corner, basically busted for her wrongdoing, she shot Selena more than once and chased her through the grounds of the hotel where Selena ultimately fell dead in the lobby.
