Hatsuharu is NOT gay! In episode 10, he is talking to Tohru, about how his entire family called him foolish, for letting the mouse ride his back, which made Hatsuharu not love them, and extremely angry (this also made "Black Haru"). But when Haru was a child, he met Yuki. When he said that he wasn't foolish to Yuki, he believed. Hatsuharu said "Yuki was my first love," meaning as a family member. (Oh and by the way, I'm in love with Hatsuharu. I don't think I would be if he was gay!) This is a misunderstanding about Hatsuharu that many people get confused about. I really hope this all goes away. (I honestly thought it was pretty obvious that he wasn't gay, based on the fact that right before he said that line, he was talking about his family.) Oh, and this may/may not help, but just for more support on this, the entire line of that is "Yuki was my first love. No offense to Kyo, it's just I like Yuki better." I don't think he'd say that in a gay way. Do you? (I talked really proper and stuff in this XD) PLEASE, DON'T BE A HATER! DON'T REMOVE MY ANSWER! This is the truth, though. HE'S NOT GAY!

NO!!!! Hahaha...sorry I'm laughing. I can't believe you thought he was gay. No, Hatsuharu, Haru, is attracted to Rin, who is also attracted to him. (stuff happens throughtout the manga, but they finally end up together again in the end - Rin and Haru) Haru loves Yuki like a brother, sort of like how Yuki loves Tohru like a mother-figure (revealed in the manga). He hated Yuki, cuz he was made fun of, the rat rode the cow all the way to the banquet...but when he met him, Yuki was nice to him, and he loved Yuki. Like Brothers:)
