It depends on your definition of 'good'. Zeus was the major domo of the gods, and thus the Greeks also viewed him as such. Would they have an evil guy as their supreme ruler? Probably not, unless such a rule was forced upon them. Zeus defeated the titans and paved the way for the rule of the gods on Mount Olympus. He also, according to some legends, ordered the creation of mankind (an order which Prometheus carried out). I would assume this to be a plus for mankind in general. That being said, Zeus did an awful lot of things that he should be less than proud of. These include numerous rapes and seductions, adultery, cheating, and fits of temper (one in which he threw Hephaestus off of Mount Olympus for being hideous). Is Zeus a good guy? Well, that's up to you, but it is probably safe to say that he wasn't evil. He is simply a reflection of mankind.
In Greek mythology, Zeus is portrayed as a complex figure who can exhibit both positive and negative traits. While he is often depicted as a powerful and just leader of the gods, he is also known for his infidelities, vengeful nature, and temperamental behavior. Ultimately, whether Zeus is considered "good" or not depends on the perspective of the individual interpreting the myths.

Zeus was the king of the gods in ancient Greek mythology and his influence on society was significant. People believed that Zeus controlled natural forces like lightning and thunder, so they would worship him to ensure good weather for crops and protection from harm. Zeus also represented justice and order, which served as a moral compass for society. Additionally, many festivals and ceremonies were held in his honor, bringing communities together in shared celebration.
Good qualities of Zeus include his leadership and power as the king of the gods, his protection of order and justice, and his role in maintaining the balance of the universe. However, some criticize him for his unfaithfulness to his wife Hera, his often impulsive and temperamental nature, and his use of deception and manipulation to achieve his goals.
