Not entirely. The LF6 was used in 1999, whereas the LU3 was used in 2003. The biggest difference is that the LU3 uses multi-port injection. Compatibility is possible, but I believe you'll need the corresponding ECM with each engine.
An engine diagram for the 2003 Chevy S10 with a 2.2 engine can be found in the maintenance manual. It can also be found in the repair manual to the car.
Yes it will it's the same
The Chevrolet S10 was built over many years. The exact motor oil capacity is dependent on year and engine type. The final production year of the S10 with the S10 pickup with the 2. 2L 4-cylinder was 2003. The 2003 had an engine oil capacity of 4. 5 quarts including the filter.
If the engine size is the same, probably
yea 1998 to 2002 are da same
Back passenger side of engine.
The engine will physically fit, however the wiring and electronics will not hook up, they are quite different, as is the fuel system.
Yes, the Service Engine Soon light is the same as the Check Engine light.
Yes. Very easily. They are built on the same body, but the blazer is the suv and the s10 is the truck.
If you are looking for the distributor on a 2.2L engine, it doesn't have one.
According to my 2003 S10 owner's manual, fuel capacity for 2003 S10 crwew cab is 17.5 gals.
