I think 13 years old and up can babysit without taking a class but 11 and 12 would have to take a class and know CPR and know all that stuff

I agree a child who is 11 must be educated before claiming they are a babysitter. For a few hours is okay when it is daylight. Having to babysit one child and that child being over 5 is ok for a few hours. Try doing it during daylight. (for example 11-1 or 2-4.)

You may find that it could be illegal to be left alone babysitting a child while only 11 yourself. You should try and find out what the legal requirements are for your state or country. Your parents are responsible if anything went wrong.

I would say no because the leagal age to babysit is 12 where i live, in California. But if you are the mother of the child that another child is babysitting you can do what you want but i think you might get punished for letting her babysit knowing here age.:>
