Are you sure it is Franklin and not Columbus? The Columbian Half and Isabella Quarter were the only US commemoratives made in 1893. Many of the half dollars were placed in circulation and these usually bring little more than the price of the silver they contain. Those that are uncirculated may bring $50. If certified as a uncirculated MS-65 or higher they can bring several hundred dollars.
