Is a 1934 Mexican peso worth anything?

I was looking up the same question. Check out: http://www.collecting-coin.org/search Apparently, the value would depend on both silver content and whether or not worn/ circulated. Looks like it could range from about US $1.00 (10X exchange rate) up to around US $8.00 if "brilliant uncirculated." I supposedly have the peso John Huston gave to Humphrey Bogart in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." At least that's what the guy I got it from said, so I guess if they only did one take it might be worth more, unless Bogart kept messing up the scene so he could cadge more pesos.

the Mexican peso dated 1944 is if it has a 07 on the left side of the head of the eagles and an 02 on the right side its a precious collectors item all over the world...valued at 1000 dollars by the coin international collectors comitee....

Your coin has a value of about $9 in very fine condition to $21 in uncirculated condition. A "Perfect" coin could be worth more, but it would have to be certified by a grading company to get the maximum value. It's a common coin with 39,522,000 coins minted in the year 1944.
