There is no way we can possibly answer your question. First, simply having a serial number does NOT tell us the make and model of the gun. Second, safety will involve the condition of the gun- which we can't see, and you did not describe.
We can't even tell the make and model by serial number alone. As shocking as this may be, a serial number is not unique to only one gun. If the caliber is not marked on the gun, it will need to be examined by a gunsmith. In some cases, we make a casting of the chamber using a material called Cerro-Safe. You melt it, pour it into the chamber, and after it hardens, remove it, and measure it with a micrometer.
The serial number on a CVA Wolf .50 caliber muzzleloader is typically located on the underside of the barrel, just in front of the trigger guard. You may also find it on the frame or receiver of the firearm. It's important to ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe to handle when looking for the serial number.
Serial numbers were not required before 1968. Check with your local police.
To find the serial number on a Sentry Safe, look for a sticker or metal plate, typically located on the back, bottom, or inside the door of the safe. The serial number is usually printed alongside other information like the model number. If it's a digital safe, you might also check inside the battery compartment. If you're unable to locate it, consult the user manual or Sentry Safe's customer support for assistance.
