It depends on what college you are trying to get into and is that your weighted, unweighted, or academic core GPA??
With that GPA you won't be able to get into a Ivy League school but you can still get into plenty of good colleges as long as you have good test scores and extracurricular activities! :)

What your GPA scale is (4.0 or 5.0), if you're in a high school that gives extra weight to AP/IB courses, and how many total courses you've taken all affect the meaning of your GPA.
Assuming a 4.0 college-type scale, however, a 3.62 roughly equates to an A-.

∙ 13y agoOn a 4.0 scale, a 3.36 would be a B+ or an A-, so while there's room for improvement, it's still a pretty good GPA.

College prep courses are not weighted, so your gpa, both weighted and unweighted, is a 3.34. The only way to get above a 4.0 is to take either honors or AP classes. If its bad or not depends on what kind of school you want to go to, and remember, colleges don't only look at gpa, they also look at standardized test scores (SAT and ACT) and extracurriculars.
