∙ 14y agoIf that's your unweighted GPA, it's not bad, but try raising it as much as you can. The better your GPA is, the better chance you'll have of getting into the college you want. That GPA is close to a 3.0, which, when combined with good test scores, can get you a scholarship in some states. However, try your best to get to at least a 3.5.

Schools would rather see that you have brought your grades up from freshman year, rather than doing good freshman year, and doing poorly the rest of high school. So the answer is yes, but you do need to remember that admission is not just based on your GPA, it is also based on your tests scores.
