CID = cubic inch displacement HO = high output
its A Chevy 5.0 HO(high output) Same crank as a 350
There were two 350 engines offered in 68. The standard engine was about 8.5 to 1 and the HO version which was advertised at 10.5 to 1.
There are two 350 Pontiac engines listed in my book. The standard 350 was rated at 265HP while the HO version was rated at 325HP. I've read many things about the HO version that says that rating is actually on the low side. The primary difference between the two engines is the compression ratio....higher for the HO, and the cam. The HO ran the 068 cam.

No. You need a transmission for a 351 (5.8L) windsor, 302 (5.0L) or 300 (4.9L)6 cylinder. The 460 Trans will fit a 460, 429, 400, or 351 M or Modified. The 351M is a big block. Your 351 HO is a 351 W or Windsor. It's a small block.answernot all ho were windsor but you may have to change bell housing then it will fit
29 hp taken from Polaris website. They have there 400 ho Ranger listed as 29hp and it has the same 455cc carb engine as the Sportsman 400 ho
One way is the firing order. The 302 HO has the same firing order as the 351. So, if the firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 you have an HO engine. If the stock manifold is on the engine, it will say "5.0 Ford HO". The exhaust manifolds were factory tubular headers. They had roller cams.
No
Every ho scale train I have had worked on any ho scale track.
No the Ho-oh is set to be a regular colored Ho-oh and is always set to be the same level and from the same OT (Mattle).
I'm assuming you mean static compression ratio. There were two 350 (5.7) engines offered by Pontiac. The standard engine was around 8.5 to 1. The HO version was factory rated at 10.5 to 1.
Even iam looking for the same...
