Even though GM still claims this is a "Small Block" the last of the real small blocks was built in the 2000's
Money is the limit. IF the engine didn't happen to fit, you could have the engine compartment modified. A big block should swap right in with no issues... wiring, transmission, etc is a different story, but a big block will fit.
Though I haven't done this myself, I think you'll need to change the frame mount. The Camaro was available with a big block so the mounts do exist. In particular the Camaro Yenko with the 427. install camaro frame mounts and it will work
No.
its Chevy 454 Big Block Engine
No it is not an interference engine.
The 400 Chevy is a small block engine. The 400 BIG BLOCK Chevy does not exist! 402 big block Chevy does. it seems in the early 70s Chevy put 402s in their pick ups and they had 400 badges. this opened the can of worms known as the non-existant big block 400.
yes it can
yes you can, you will just need the big block motor mounts to do it.
Why a Chevy Big Block of Course.
Many. 348 would be a small block, whereas the 454 is a big block.
Not from the factory, but, someone could have put one in.
No the 350 has always been a small block. The smallest big block made by Chevrolet was the 366 truck engine and the 396 car engine.
