it could be, you need to check the VIN number from both vehicles. If you don't have the number to one of the vehicles numbers then you have to find a what type of tranmission you have for the replacement.
once you have the identifiers on both transmissions you can check with a dealer, or haynes manual.
IT WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE IF THEY ARE DIFFERENT SPEEDS...meaning one has an over drive and the other does not. Well I should not say they would not be completely compatible....you have to think about the gear shift if you do that if they are different. (say one has an over drive and the other does not)
there are no physical adjustments available for the Saturn automatic transmission.

No
No , 1995 was a redesign , so 1991 to 1994 would be more compatible
yes
No, they will not interchange.
Yes. But they use different wire harnesses and ECM's. The 93 has less electronics than the 96 year Lumina's.
Yes you should be able to.
Generally, parts from a 1998 Saturn may not be fully compatible with a 1996 Saturn, as there were design changes and updates between these model years. However, some components, particularly those related to the engine or transmission, might be interchangeable depending on the specific model (e.g., SL, SC). It's essential to verify compatibility through part numbers or consult with a knowledgeable mechanic or parts dealer. Always check the specific parts you wish to swap for compatibility.
