if it is equipped from factory it is mounted by the rear controls for the radio behind drivers seat
The CD player, if it has one, is right in the radio. If you mean the changer, look below that or under the passenger seat.
It is under the dash, either behind and above the glove box, or behind the radio area. It should have a yellow connector. It is NOT easy to get to.
To replace the radio on the Villager, first remove the bezel from around the radio by prying it from the dashboard. Then, squeeze the clips on either side of the radio to remove it from the dash. Disconnect the wires and attach them to your new stereo. Then, replace the clips and the bezel.

The radio lights are supposed to come on when you turn on your headlights and adjust with the rest of your dashboard lights. I had this problem when I purchased my 1995 Mercury Villager back in 1997 with a mere 33k miles on the odometer. I believe the mechanic replaced the display panel under warranty. I have not had a problem since. I will look for that work authorization and get back to you if it was something different. I am not sure If your problem is the same but it is worth exploring replacing the display panel. Good Luck

To hook up satellite radio to a stock radio in a 2005 Chrysler 300C, you will typically need a satellite radio tuner compatible with your vehicle. You'll also need an FM modulator or an auxiliary input adapter if your stock radio lacks direct inputs. Install the tuner according to the manufacturer's instructions, connect it to the vehicle's power source, and then tune your stock radio to the designated frequency or input for the satellite signal. Finally, secure the antenna on the vehicle's roof for optimal reception.

In a 2002 Mercury Villager, the wiring color codes for the radio are typically as follows: the constant power wire is usually yellow, the ignition power wire is red, the ground wire is black, the left front speaker wires are white (positive) and white with a black stripe (negative), and the right front speaker wires are gray (positive) and gray with a black stripe (negative). Always consult a wiring diagram or manual specific to your vehicle for the most accurate information, as color codes may vary.
